Lucy Morgans
 

Lucy trained full time at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts from 1987-1994.

She made her west end musical debut at the age of 13 in Metropolis at the Piccadilly Theatre. Since then she has worked continuously in theatre and TV.

Credits include Peg in ‘The Ragged Child’ at Saddlers Wells, Elizabeth in ‘Whistle down the Wind’, Poppy in ‘Rock Heaven’, Dolly in ‘You Never Can Tell’ national tour, Leontine in the new English version of Georges Feydeau’s ‘Game Pie’ National tour, Kitty Verdun in ‘Charlie’s Aunt’, Christine in Phantom of the opera and Eva Peron  in Evita in the European tour of ‘The Best of Broadway’, Gurie in Dougie Squires new musical ‘The Broonie’, Adele in the UK Tour of ‘Jane Eyre’, Gerda in ‘The Snow Queen’ at the Yvonne Arnauld Theatre Guildford, ‘Annie’ National UK tour, Wendy in ‘Peter Pan’ at the Churchill Theatre Bromley and the Milton Keynes Theatre.

Lucy has also appeared in eleven commercial Pantomimes as Principal girl, including ‘Cinderella’ Playing the title role at the Cliffs Pavilion Theatre Southend with the Chuckle Brothers and Alice Fitzwarren in Dick Whittington in Eastbourne last year. TV credits include the Feisty Abby in channel 4’s Brookside, Tracey in the film Picture this, Harriet in Return of the Psammead ,and she was a series regular for Live TV’s daily soap agony.

In 1999 Lucy made No 1 in the UK dance charts with Happiness happening, she is a regular singer with several London Show Bands and performs frequently at venues such as Café Royal, Pizza in the Park and The Wardolf. Lucy has recently filmed commercial’s for 3 mobile and DFS.

Aside from her ‘acting engagements’ Lucy teaches Singing, Dance and Drama and runs her own theatre schools in Kent where she enjoys writing and directing her own children’s shows and workshops.
